Meet The Band!  

Bella Collins - Vocals / Guitar

Bella has been active on the Welsh music scene for the last 5 years. Privileged to be playing as part of a band with some of Wales’ finest blues musicians, and also in her jazz duo. She has just released her debut album ‘Late and Blue’ which has been well received making positive waves. She possesses a unique vocal style, incorporating a crossover of genres; blues, soul, rock & roll and jazz. 

Paul 'Billy' Higgins - Bass

Played in small local bands from 1967 to 1989. First single Falling on the Floor with the C.R. boogie band, for Active Records at Rockfield, Monmouth. Formed Snatch it Back with Chris Rees, releasing their first album in 1987, in 1989 they recorded six albums for Tramp Records, Amsterdam, touring extensively in Europe with Snatch It Back. Now in high demand playing locally with a number of bands including J Alexander & The Blues Devils (Snatch It Back), Junior Hacksaw. Paul is also writing & recording with Bella Collins.

Pete Mathison - Guitar

Pete originally from Carlisle, moved to Cardiff in the 70s since then he has lived in London, toured Europe and America. Performing, recording & touring with Red Beans And Rice, members of The Chris Barber band, Blur, Reef, Ten Years After, Innes Sibun, Chicken Shack, Savoy Brown, Paul Weller, The Big Town Playboys, Squeeze, Jools Holland, Pino Palladino , Funkadelic, REM, The E Street Band and for many years with Ray Davies of the Kinks! He also continues to play locally in a number of outfits - as part of the Omega 2 Duo with Jane Williams & is the master of his own trio Junior Hacksaw, playing blues, R&B and rock & roll. 

John 'Mugsy' Munro- drums

John moved back to Wales in 2015 after a living in London since the 90s. John has been a professional drummer for over 30 years, touring extensively around the UK, Europe and America. John is also as a session musician with a vast recording catalogue. Notably touring with Trapper between 1974 to 1976 supporting Stewart Copeland on the 'Curved Air' tour - playing with John Sloman, Steve Bolts, Pino Palladino, Neil Lockwood, The Alan Parson Project and Ritz. John also played on TV in Al Murray's BBC show. He also toured the UK with the Angela Holmes Orchestra, playing Kurt Wiel & Brech. He now continues to gig in Cardiff with a number of local bands.
